Summary:

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, inspection rules, inspection methods, marking, packaging and storage of marine explosion-proof lamps. It is applicable to flameproof and increased safety explosion-proof lamps with rated voltage below 250V and light sources of incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps and gas discharge lamps installed in places where explosive gas mixtures may be generated or accumulated.
