1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, dimensions, technical requirements and relevant use regulations of hand holes for butt-weld neck flanges made of carbon steel and low alloy steel.
This standard is applicable to hand holes for butt-weld neck flanges with nominal pressure PN2.5~6.3MPa and working temperature limited to the range specified in Table 3-2 according to material type.
Note: The nominal pressure and working temperature in Table 3-2 are only applicable to hand-filled pressure parts, excluding gaskets. The nominal pressure and working temperature of the gasket shall be determined according to the corresponding gasket standards
