Note: ①) The single content and total amount of other elements in impurities shall only be considered for analysis when there is any objection. ② When there are special requirements for the impurity content, it shall be indicated in the relevant documents after consultation between the supply and demand parties. Chemical composition
4.1 The chemical composition of cast titanium and titanium alloys shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 4.2 The other elements of impurities in Table 1 refer to the trace elements inherent in the production process of castings, generally including Al, V, Sn, Mo, Cr, Mn, Zr, Ni, Cu, Si, Nb, Y (the alloy elements contained in this grade should be removed). 4.3 The chemical analysis sample is cut from the casting test bar or casting, and it is allowed to be cut from the runner. The chemical analysis sample must be clean, without foreign impurities and without casting surface, etc.
4.4 The chemical composition analysis shall be carried out in accordance with GB4698. The element analysis method not included in GB4698 shall be negotiated by the supply and demand parties. 4.5 The number of significant digits of the reported value of the chemical composition analysis shall be consistent with the number of significant digits of the corresponding limit value in Table 1. The rounding of the analysis value shall be carried out in accordance with GB8170.
4.6 When the purchaser re-tests and analyzes the chemical composition, the allowable deviation of the composition shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. Table 2
