This standard is a revision of GB/T8960--1988 "Polyester Drawn Yarn". According to the rapid development of polyester in recent years and the characteristics of the introduction of advanced production equipment, the standard has been revised as follows: 1. Scope of application: from linear density 44~167dtex, single yarn linear density 1.7~5.6dtex, to total linear density 40~340dtex, single yarn linear density 1.0~~5.6dtex. bZxz.net
2. Requirements:
a) The assessment index classification is changed from the original two-grade classification based on the total linear density 76dtex to the two-grade classification based on the single yarn linear density 1.7dtex. And the quality index of the single yarn linear density 1.0~1.7dtex grade is added. b) The evaluation index values ​​of the items of linear density unevenness CV, breaking strength, breaking strength unevenness CV, breaking elongation, breaking elongation non-hooking rate CV, oil content and network degree in the physical indexes have all been increased to a certain extent. c) The test items and evaluation indicators of evenness have been cancelled and replaced by internal control of the enterprise. d) The items of simple weight and evaluation indicators of superior products have been added. e) The appearance items and indicators have been changed from the original item-by-item evaluation and unified regulations to being determined by the interested parties in the commercial contract according to the requirements of the downstream products.
3. Test method part: The specific operation methods and inspection conditions of appearance inspection have been added. This standard replaces GB/T8960-1988 from the date of implementation.
