Summary:

This standard specifies the types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of terminal parts. This standard applies to terminal parts that are connected by solderless crimping with stranded wires with a cross-sectional area of ​​0.05 to 10 mm2 or hard wires with a diameter of 0.25 to 3.6 mm and non-insulated or pre-insulated crimping barrels. This standard should be used together with the relevant detailed specifications. When this standard is inconsistent with the detailed specifications, the provisions of the detailed specifications shall prevail. This standard does not apply to contacts installed on insulating substrates.
