This guidance technical document is equivalent to the international standard ISO/TR11340:1994 "Hydraulic hose assemblies-Classification of external leakage of hydraulic systems".
The purpose of formulating this guidance technical document is to propose a classification for the leakage of the pipe joints of hydraulic hose assemblies for reference by relevant personnel in scientific research, design, production, use and management. This guidance technical document is for reference only. For suggestions and opinions on this guidance technical document, please report to the standardization administrative department of the State Council.
This guidance technical document is proposed by the State Administration of Petroleum and Chemical Industry. ISO Foreword
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of formulating international standards is usually carried out by ISO technical committees. Any member body interested in a project for which a technical committee has been established has the right to participate in the committee. International organizations, both governmental and non-governmental, that have ties with ISO may also participate in this work. ISO works closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in all aspects of electrotechnical standardization. The main task of the technical committee is to formulate international standards. In special circumstances, the technical committee may recommend the publication of one of the following types of technical reports.
Type 1: When, despite repeated efforts, it still cannot get the support it needs as an international standard; Type 2: When the project is still in the technical development stage or, for any other reason, is promising but cannot immediately form an international standard; Type 3: When the technical committee collects data that is different from the data that is usually published as an international standard (for example, "statement of the process").
Type 1 and Type 2 technical reports are subject to review within three years of publication to determine whether they should be converted into international standards. Type 3 technical reports do not need to be reviewed until the data they provide is no longer valid or useful. ISO/TR11340 is a Type 3 technical report. It was prepared by ISO/TC45 Rubber and Rubber Products Technical Committee, SC1 Hose (Rubber and Plastics) Subcommittee.
