Pipeline instrument flow chart heat insulation, thermal insulation, fire prevention and sound insulation code HG20559.6-93 Compiled by: Process System Design Technology Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry Ministry of Industry Approved by: Chemical Industry Implementation date: November 1, 1994 1 Definition and scope 1.0.1. Heat insulation (thermal insulation) refers to the use of thermal insulation materials to isolate the heat (cold) source from the environment. It is divided into heat isolation (thermal insulation) and cold isolation (cold insulation). 1.0.2 Heat insulation (cold insulation) is to keep the material at a certain temperature by means of heat (cold) transfer of hot (cold) medium. According to the existence of hot (cold) medium outside the material (pipe), it is divided into accompanying pipe, jacket pipe, electric heating, etc. 1.0.3 Fire prevention refers to the fire prevention treatment of steel materials such as pipelines, steel brackets, steel structures, equipment legs, skirts, etc. Sound insulation refers to the use of measures to isolate or reduce the transmission of sound sources. 1.0.4
2 Purpose
Codes are used to mark pipeline numbers in engineering design materials such as pipeline instrument flow charts. 2.0.1
3 Codes
3.0.1 Insulation, heat preservation, fire prevention and sound insulation codes are represented by one or two capital English printed letters, and the two English letters must be the same size.
3.0.2 Codes are divided into two categories: general codes and special codes. 3.0.2.1 General codes refer to insulation and heat preservation characteristics in general, without specifying specific categories, and are preferably used in version A of process flow charts (PF diagrams) and pipeline instrument flow charts (PI diagrams). 3.0.2.2 Special codes refer to specific categories. With the progress and deepening of engineering design, special codes should be used in version B (internal audit version) of the pipeline instrument flow chart (PI diagram) and subsequent versions. 3.0.3 Function type code, see Table 3.0.3. Class
Function type code
General code
Personal protection (anti-scalding)
Anti-surface condensation

Hot (cold) water tracing pipe
Hot (cold) oil tracing pipe
Special medium tracing (cold) pipe
Electric tracing (electric belt)

Using refractory materials and coatings
Using sound insulation materials
Note: ① For the composite type that requires both thermal isolation (insulation) and cold isolation (cold insulation), the general code "I" is used to mark. When using heat-conducting glue to lay heating pipes and heating plates, the functional category code is marked according to the tracing pipe type, but the specifications and models of the heat-conducting glue need to be marked on the relevant materials and drawings.
For the composite situation that requires both heat insulation and sound insulation, the type code of the main function is used for marking. ?
