This standard specifies the method for the determination of ash in industrial stearic acid. UDC 668.1.012

This standard applies to the determination of ash in industrial stearic acid produced by pressing or distillation after hydrolysis of animal and vegetable fats. 2 Apparatus
2.1 Porcelain crucible 50mL.
2.2 Dryer.
2.3 High temperature electric furnace
3 Test procedure
It can be heated to at least 1000℃.
Accurately weigh about 10 samples into the porcelain that has been burned to constant weight, heat it on an electric furnace and ignite it to completely carbonize it. Then move it into a high-temperature furnace at 800-850℃, burn it into grayish white (about 0.5h), move it to a dryer to cool for 1.5h, weigh 4 results and calculate
