Properties and uses
Analysis of ignition loss of high purity quartz sand.
Determination of silicon dioxide in high purity quartz sand. Determination of iron in high purity quartz sand.
Determination of copper in high purity quartz.
Determination of lead in high purity quartz sand.
Determination of fluorine in high purity quartz sand.
High purity quartz sand is a white granular powder, mainly used as the raw material for the manufacture of potassium silicate solution for the electronics industry and the raw material for related optical glass products.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 The appearance of high purity quartz sand should be white and free of visible mechanical impurities. 4.2 The purity of high purity quartz sand, the content of silicon dioxide shall not be less than 99.95% for the first grade and not less than 99.90% for the second grade. bzxz.net
4.3 The maximum content of impurities in the first and second grade high purity quartz sands is shown in Table 1. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China on March 20, 1989, and implemented on March 25, 1989

4.4 The particle size of high-purity quartz sand should be 40--150 mesh, of which the particle size above 40 mesh should not exceed 3%, and the particle size below 150 mesh should not exceed 7%.
5 Inspection rules
5.1 The quality inspection department of the production unit shall inspect the high-purity quartz sand to ensure that each batch of products meets the technical requirements. A test sheet and a quality certificate shall be attached. The certificate shall indicate the production unit, product name, batch number, batch size, production date, and this standard number.
5.2 The user unit shall inspect each batch of quartz sand in accordance with the technical conditions, inspection rules and test methods specified in this standard.
5.3 If any index in the test result does not meet the technical conditions, 10% of the batch (when the batch is greater than 5t, it should be calculated as no less than 6%) should be resampled (take the middle part of each package, sample 250g, take 6 packages in total and mix them, and classify them by quartering method) for retesting. If the index still does not meet the technical conditions after the retesting, the batch of high-purity quartz sand is unqualified.
6 Test method
6.1 The determination of silicon dioxide should be carried out in accordance with SJ3228.4-89. 6.2 The determination of iron should be carried out in accordance with SJ3228.5-89. 6.3 The determination of copper should be carried out in accordance with SJ3228.6--89. 6.4 The determination of lead should be carried out in accordance with SJ3228.10-89. 6.5 The determination of chloride should be carried out in accordance with SJ3228.9-89. The determination of loss on ignition shall be carried out in accordance with SJ3228.3-89. 6.6
7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage
7.1 The batch of high-purity quartz sand is generally not less than 3t. It is sealed with one layer of woven bags and two layers of plastic bags, and each bag contains 2-

40kg. Other packaging can also be used according to user requirements. Each package should be accompanied by a product certificate. It should be marked on it: 7.2

7.3 During transportation, the packaging bag should not be damaged, and the transportation vehicle should be kept tight and clean, and attention should be paid to moisture-proof, waterproof and pollution-proof.

4 Technical requirements
