Rare earth dust: single and mixed rare earth dust containing rare earth metals and their oxides, including group and group mixed rare earths. 4 Hygiene requirements
The maximum allowable concentration of rare earth dust with a free silicon dioxide content of less than 10% in the workplace air is 5mg/m3. 5 Monitoring and inspection methods
The determination of dust concentration and free silicon dioxide content in workshop air shall be carried out in accordance with GB5748. Additional notes:
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by the School of Public Health of Beijing Medical University and the Institute of Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of Baotou Steel. The main drafters of this standard are Zou Shiqu, Zou Tongtong and Lei Chunwen. This standard is interpreted by the Institute of Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, the technical management unit entrusted by the Ministry of Health. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on April 3, 1996554
