Pressure Gauge Scale and Division
This standard specifies the dial scale and division of various pressure gauges. JB/T5528-91
This standard is applicable to the scale design of the dial of various pressure gauges (referred to as instruments) with accuracy levels of 0.1, 0.16, 0.25, 0.4, 1, 1.5, 2.5, 4 and shell nominal diameters of Φ40, 60, $100, Φ150, 200, Φ250mm. Pressure gauges with other types of shells can also be used as a reference.
Those not specified in this standard shall comply with the corresponding provisions of ZBY123. 2
Cited standards
ZBY123 General provisions for the scale of industrial automation instruments 3 Basic requirements for scale
3.1 Scale direction
The scale direction of the instrument shall comply with the following provisions; a. The zero scale line of the pressure gauge shall be located at the left end or lower end of the scale, and scale from zero to the right, clockwise or upward. b. The zero scale line of the vacuum gauge shall be located at the right end or upper end of the scale, and scale from zero to the left, counterclockwise or downward. C. The zero scale line of the pressure vacuum gauge shall be located between the vacuum part scale and the pressure part scale, and the vacuum part scale shall be scaled from zero to the left, counterclockwise or downward, and the pressure part scale shall be scaled from zero to the right, clockwise or upward. 3.2 Zero scale line
The scale reduction of the actual zero scale line of the instrument dial with a stop pin shall not be greater than the absolute value of the basic error limit of the indication. The zero scale line of the instrument dial without a stop pin shall be indicated along the scale baseline, and the indicated range shall not be greater than twice the absolute value of the basic error limit of the indication. 3.3 Scale line
3.3.1 For instruments with accuracy levels of 1, 1.5, 2.5, and 4, the width of the long scale line, the middle scale line, and the short scale line shall not be greater than that specified in Table 1. The long scale line uses a semi-thick line, and the width of the thick part of the semi-thick line shall not be greater than 3 times that specified in Table 1. Table 1

3.3.2 For instruments with an accuracy level of 0.4 or higher, the scale lines shall be all fine lines with a width not exceeding 0.2mm. 3.4 Scale units
According to the measuring range of the instrument, the scale units may be MPa (megapascals), kPa (kilopascals) or Pa (pascals). The specific selection of scale units shall be specified by the product standards.
