1 Subject content and scope of application

3 Technical requirements
3.0.1 After the stuffing box is assembled, it shall be subjected to water pressure test together with the equipment. The test pressure and tightness shall be in accordance with the equipment assembly drawing.
3.0.2 The mechanical properties and materials of stud bolts and nuts shall be in accordance with the national standards of 6.8 and 6 respectively, and the mechanical properties of washers shall be 140HV. 32
The packing shall be soft packing, which can be selected according to the operating requirements and refer to Appendix II, 4. 0. 1
and shall be indicated on the equipment assembly drawing.
4.0.2 Marking example
The carbon steel packing box for pipes with a nominal diameter of DN50mm is marked as: packing box PNO.6DN50HG21537.5--92--4 The various specifications of packing boxes in this standard shall be marked according to the provisions of Table 4.0.3 when selected. 4.0.31
