1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
JB/T6036-92
This standard specifies the items, contents, methods and test result record form of the waterproof sealing performance test of crawler bulldozers. This standard is applicable to the watertightness test of industrial crawler bulldozers above 74kW, and also to the watertightness test of crawler loaders and crawler tractors of the same level.

Water (or rain) test;
Flushing test;
Small water test.
Inspection contents
Engine oil bottom filling;
Main clutch or hydraulic converter housing;
Gearbox;
Rear axle box;
Steering clutch;
Final drive box;
Fuel tank;
Hydraulic oil tank;
Instrument panel.
Test method
Before the test, all parts should be inspected according to the inspection contents specified in Chapter 3 to confirm that there is no moisture inside. For parts filled with oil, confirm that there is no colorless turbid liquid inside.
4.1 Water spray (or rain spray) test
The tested soil spreading machine prototype is divided into one test block per square meter in the horizontal direction. The sprinkler uses 300~350kg/h of water to spray each block vertically downward for 3 hours, then wipe the surface and check whether there is water in each part. 4.2 Flushing test
After flushing the push-up machine for more than 1 hour, check whether the parts specified in Chapter 3 are immersed in water. 4.3 Water test
When the engine is adjusted to 1/2 rated speed, place the bulldozer under test in water of the allowable depth (limited to not flooding the refueling port) for 1 hour, then wipe the surface dry, check whether the parts specified in Chapter 3 are immersed in water, and check whether the water from the fan splashes the breathable cover of the hydraulic oil tank or the driver.
