This standard is applicable to thread grinders, universal thread grinders and screw grinders with a maximum workpiece diameter of 50 to 500 mm and a maximum workpiece length of 500 to 5000 mm and a movable table. This standard was first issued in December 1980 and revised for the first time in December 1987.
