Determination of hydrochloric acid absorption number of acetylene carbon black
Acetylene black-Determination of hydrochloric acid absorption number
1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the method for determining the hydrochloric acid absorption number of acetylene carbon black. This standard is applicable to the determination of the hydrochloric acid absorption number of acetylene carbon black. 2 Principle
GB/T 3781: 8—93
This replaces GB 3781.8-83
According to the characteristics of acetylene carbon black with developed structure, large volume and strong liquid absorption capacity, add excess hydrochloric acid to the sample. After the sample fully absorbs the hydrochloric acid, apply a certain pressure to squeeze out the remaining hydrochloric acid. The unsqueezed part is the amount of hydrochloric acid absorbed by the sample. 3 Instruments
3.1 Analytical balance; accurate to 1 mg.
3.2 Stopwatch: accurate to 0.25,
3.3 Burette: 25ml. (acid type).
3.4 Measuring cylinder: 10mL, accuracy 0.1mL. 3.5 Test tube: medical 20mL middle-head glass syringe. 3.6 Volumetric flask: 1000mL with stopper.
3.7 Liquid absorption measuring instrument: as shown in Figures 1 and 2: approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on March 3, 1993 and implemented on December 1, 1993

1--, support; 2--base weight; 3-tray: 4--test tube; 5--volume simplifier; 6--base 4.1 Hydrochloric acid (CH622); specific gravity 1.18, analytical grade, 4.295% ethanol (GB679). Analytical grade. 4.3 Hydrochloric acid (containing 5% ethanol) solution: c(HCl)-0.1mol/1. Preparation: Measure about 9mL of hydrochloric acid and 50mL of ethanol into a 1000mL volumetric flask, add distilled water to dilute to the mark and shake the hook, 5 steps
5.1 Weigh 1g of the sample, accurate to 1mg.
5.2 Put it into the test tube (please first pad the tube with two layers of glass fiber filter cloth that is impermeable to acetylene carbon black). 5.3 Put a small rubber cap on the flow hole at the lower end of the test tube, 5.4 Use a burette to slowly add 10~13mL of c(HC1)=0.1mal/L hydrochloric acid to completely soak the carbon black sample, stop adding, and accurately record the burette reading.
5.5 After placing for 3 minutes to allow the sample to fully absorb liquid, remove the small rubber cap and slowly push the test inner tube in. Let the solution flow into the measuring cylinder (3.4). After all the air in the test tube is removed, put the test tube into the pressure hole of the measuring instrument (see Figure 1b). 5.6 Place the measuring cylinder at the lower end of the test tube flow hole, first add a 2k weight, immediately press the stopwatch to start timing, after 1min, add a 4kg weight to continue pressurizing. After a total of 5 minutes of compression, stop the test immediately and collect the remaining drops that have not flowed down into the measuring cylinder. 5.7 Remove the two base weights and record the amount of solution collected in the measuring cylinder. 6 Result expression
The liquid absorption amount u (mL/) of the sample is calculated according to the following formula: Ki-V.
Wu: V--the amount of hydrochloric acid solution added to the burette, mL; V2 The amount of hydrochloric acid solution collected in the measuring cylinder, ml.: m-the mass of the sample·&.
The result of the measurement is accurate to 10%.
7 Allowable error
GB/T 3781.8—93wwW.bzxz.Net
The difference between the two determination results shall not exceed 0.15mL/k. 8 Test report
The test report shall include the following items:
The national standard number on which this test is based:
The type and mark of the sample;
The average value of the two test results:
Indicate the differences from the prescribed test steps; Test date.
